Ciplox-D Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of Ciprofloxacin and Dexamethasone. It is used to treat eye and ear infections caused by bacteria. It is also used to prevent swelling and bacterial infections that may occur after eye surgery. It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria.2

Allergan's Prednisolone Acetate 1% eye drops (often branded as Pred Forte) are a potent topical corticosteroid suspension used to treat steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions of the eye. They reduce redness, swelling, itching, and soreness caused by allergies, injury, surgery, or specific infections. 

Pilocare (Pilocarpine) eye drops are primarily used to treat glaucoma and ocular hypertension by lowering high eye pressure, preventing vision loss, and are also used to constrict the pupil (miosis) before eye exams or surgery, helping drain excess eye fluid and counteracting pupil-widening medications, but should be used cautiously with certain eye conditions like iris inflammation or risk of retinal detachment. 

Key Uses:

Glaucoma & Ocular Hypertension: Reduces pressure inside the eye by promoting drainage of aqueous humor (eye fluid) to prevent nerve damage.

Miosis Induction: Shrinks the pupil for specific eye exams or after laser surgery.

Reverse Pupil Dilation: Counteracts the effects of certain drugs that enlarge the pupil. 

How it Works:

Pilocarpine, a cholinergic agonist, opens drainage pathways in the eye, allowing excess fluid to escape and lowering pressure.

• Conjunctivitis (pink eye)
• Prevention of swelling and bacterial infections after eye surgery

Combigan Ophthalmic Solution 5 ml is used to lower intraocular pressure in conditions like glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour and increasing the amount of liquid that is drained. In some cases, this medicine may cause side effects such as a burning sensation, eye redness, itching, irritation, and vision disturbances. Avoid touching the container's tip to the eye, eyelids, or surrounding areas, as it may contaminate the product.
