Taffic Tablet is an antiretroviral drug containing the active ingredient Bictegravir, Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide. It is used in the treatment of HIV-1 infection. It is a Human immunodeficiency virus that mainly occurs when a person's immune system is attacked and weakened by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This infection progressively weakens the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to opportunistic infections.

Do not take this drug if allergic to Taffic Tablet and other ingredients. During the early stages of HIV-1 treatment, some patients may experience an inflammatory response to opportunistic infections. This condition is called immune reconstitution syndrome. It can occur after starting the drug or other antiretroviral therapies. Knowing this possibility and monitoring for any signs of worsening infections or inflammatory symptoms is necessary. Report to your doctor if you have had a history of heart failure, pancreatitis, bone disease, fractures, liver or kidney problems. Patients diagnosed with pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis should take this combination of medicine cautiously. During the treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, and liver and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications. 

Peginterferon alfa-2a injection is used alone or together with other medicines (eg, ribavirin)to treat chronic hepatitis C infection in patients who are not able to take other medicine. It is also used to treat chronic hepatitis B infection. Peginterferon alfa-2a is a synthetic (man-made) version of a substance that is normally produced in the body. It helps your immune system fight hepatitis infections.

Tenofovir alafenamide 25 mg is an antiviral medication primarily used to treat chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in adults and adolescents (aged 12 years and older) with compensated liver disease. It is also used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs to treat and prevent HIV-1 infection.

Important Considerations

Contagion: Taking this medication does not prevent the spread of the virus to others, so necessary precautions should be taken to avoid sexual contact or sharing needles.
Do not stop suddenly: Stopping the medication without a doctor's advice may worsen the condition (e.g., acute exacerbation of hepatitis B).

The Bevac vaccine is used for active immunization against the hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It is an effective preventive measure against the serious liver diseases that can result from HBV, including chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. 

Primary Uses

The main use of the Bevac vaccine is for the prevention of Hepatitis B virus infection in individuals of all ages considered at risk of exposure. Specific uses and recommendations include: 

Routine Vaccination: It is recommended for all infants starting at birth, all unvaccinated children and adolescents up to age 18 or 19, and for all adults up to age 60 who have not been previously vaccinated.

High-Risk Groups: Vaccination is essential for individuals in high-risk groups, such as healthcare personnel, people with chronic liver or kidney disease, those with HIV, people on dialysis, and travelers to high-endemic areas.

Post-Exposure Prophylaxis: It can be administered as soon as possible after potential exposure (e.g., a needle-stick injury or sexual contact with an infected person) to help prevent the onset of infection. In such cases, it may be given along with Hepatitis B immunoglobulin for faster, temporary protection.

Maternal-Infant Transmission Prevention: It is used to prevent infection in infants born to mothers who are positive for the hepatitis B virus.

Prevention of Hepatitis D: Since hepatitis D only occurs in the presence of hepatitis B infection, immunization with Bevac is also expected to prevent hepatitis D.
